Tailored, non-invasive treatment for verrucas, following your consultation.
Treatment options:
Verrutop Treatment for Verrucas
Procedure: Verrutop is a topical nitric–zinc complex solution designed specifically for verrucae. It works by denaturing proteins within the infected tissue, causing the lesion to dry out (mummify) and gradually break down. This helps your body to clear the infection naturally. Patients are often advised to apply surgical spirit daily at home to maintain a dry environment and support healing.
Application: The solution is applied directly to the verruca in clinic, typically every 1–2 weeks. No daily acids or home treatments are required.
Outcome: Verrutop targets the verruca tissue directly, leading to visible colour changes (white or brown) as the lesion breaks down. With repeated applications, the verruca gradually reduces until resolved.
Cryotherapy Treatment for Verrucas
Procedure: Cryotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that destroys verruca tissue by freezing it with liquid nitrogen. This causes cell destruction and triggers the immune system to fight off the virus.
Application: Liquid nitrogen is applied directly to the verruca with a spray or cotton swab. Treatments are usually repeated every 1–2 weeks.
Outcome: Effectively destroys verruca tissue while stimulating the immune system to clear the virus from the skin.

Foot Health Practitioner Appointments - Ellee Robb

A Foot Health Practitioner (FHP) is trained to provide safe, professional routine foot care, helping patients maintain healthy and comfortable feet. While FHPs are not Podiatrists and do not carry out podiatric procedures such as minor surgery, prescribing, or advanced medical treatments, they play an important role in supporting ongoing foot health.
At our clinic, our FHP works alongside HCPC-registered Podiatrists, sharing the same vision of providing high-quality, patient-centred care. This allows us to offer patients greater choice, accessibility, and continuity of care.
